Santa brought me:
my brand new Steve Berry book---I heart this author. He's compared to Dan Brown a lot, but I think his writing is much better. His other books include The Amber Room, The Romanov Prophecy, The Third Secret (my current favorite), The Templar Legacy, and The Alexandria Link. The latter two, along with The Venetian Betrayal all revolve around the same characters. I hope this one is just as good as his others.
For some laughs you should check out Maureen Johnson's blog. One of Maureen Johnson's books were banned from the Bartlesville Mid-High, which infuriates me to no end. But her blog is HILARIOUS. The latest post includes the following:
J.K. Rowling (Mrs. Rowling appears numerous times in M.J.'s blog. Read them. You will be happy)
and
A hamster. Zac Efron (once again, hunky!)
and last but not least
Katie Holmes and Posh Spice (aka Mrs. Beckham)
I love this blog. Did I mention all these characters are intertwined? READ IT!

inconceivable!
My future in-laws bought me the 20th anniversary edition of "The Princess Bride" movie for Chritmas. Along with HSM2, this movie was high my list. I love it! Romance, fighting, giants, evil bald men--all wrapped up in satire. Plus Westley would be my prince of choice
The movie cover
Hunky! Too bad he turns evil in Ella Enchanted

My favorite character! "My names is Ingio Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!" And he bears a striking resemblance to my uncle Mickey. It's actually really close. I'll post a picture of him soon.
And finally
Officially now on my Christmas list :)

My name is Jayme...
and I am an Anglophile. I am completely and utterly obsessed with all things London, England, or pertaining to either. With that said I would to introduce you to some YA books I found at the library that help me fulfill my addiction of all things British.
The first is L. Rennison's Georgia series.
Katie Maxwell's American teen living in England saga.
Not real heavy reads, but perfect rainy day quick ones!
